The 29th World Military Championships organized by the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces General Headquarters
was exceptional in every respect. Congratulations to the Organizer General Rashed Khamis Ben Haber Al Hamli and the Meet Director Lt. Col. Mohammed Youssuf Abdulrahman.

Lt. Col. Mohammed Youssuf Abdulrahman is well known and respected in the World Military and Civilian parachuting community. He has been a world class competitor, FAI International Judge, Team Leader, Head of Delegation and presently Commander of the UAE Parachute Team. He is among the very few who have held all positions.

Lt. Col. Mohammed Youssuf Abdulrahman assembled an international staff made up of the best talent available. The result was a very smooth and coordinated operation.

The UAE pilots were impressive and won high praise from the officials, staff and competitors.

 
Every detail was taken care of to make the competitors comfortable including an air conditioned e-mail facility on the DZ. Lunch was in an air conditioned building that was set up for the competition at the DZ. It featured a full buffet similar to what you would find in a four star hotel complete with waiters.

Along with all of the physical amenities the UAE hospitality made this a memorable championships for all who attended.
